Il bracciale ed i fermatrecce abbinati sono costruiti da maglie in lamina, ritagliate ad ”8” e piegate in modo da agganciarsi tra di loro.

The bracelet and the matching braid clips are made of foil links, cut into a figure of 8 and bent to hook together.

Il Bracciale (armilla) - indossato da una ricca matrona che cercava di scappare dalla furia del vulcano - è costituito da una verga in oro massiccio che forma il corpo di un serpente e termina in due teste di rettile affrontate che reggono tra le fauci un disco con rappresentata la dea Selene.

The bracelet (armilla) - worn by a wealthy matron who was trying to escape the fury of the volcano - consists of a solid gold rod that forms the body of a snake and ends in two facing reptile heads holding a disc in their jaws with the goddess Selene represented.
